Amber Wright

Amber Nicole Wright was born into life in Oak Park, IL on April 28, 1994, to Frederick Wright and Tracey Backstrom. Amber completed her elementary education at Lincoln Elementary and she continued on to graduate from Crete-Monee High School. Amber later earned her EMT certificate and went on to utilize her education and work experience as a dedicated EMT.
 
Amber was a caring and devoted daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, and loving friend who would stop at nothing to show her love to those she cared about. She would give the shirt off her back to anyone. Amber was the life of the party! She loved partying with her family and friends, having a good time, online shopping, dancing, cooking, and most of all eating. Amber's energy lit up whatever space she stepped into with her loud, boisterous laugh and smile; to know her was to truly love her.

On April 3, 2025, God whispered to his beloved angel, calling her home. Amber is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Leslie E. Backstrom and Charles Wright, and her grandmother, Ida M. Clendening.

Amber leaves to cherish her memory her loving parents, Frederick Wright, Tracey Backstrom, her NaNa Sandra Backstrom; three siblings, DeAndre Trent, Deneen Wright, and Frederick Wright II; a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved and adored like they were her own. Amber also leaves behind the love of her life, Aaron Jenkins, known as Runny, and a host of family and friends whom she loved dearly.  Amber will truly be missed by all who knew her.
