Angela Frazier, most affectionately known as Angie, was born July 30, 1966, to loving parents, Darlene and Hugh Frazier, in Chicago, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her youngest beloved brother, Reginald (Reggie) and father, Hugh Frazier.
At an early age, Angie was baptized and continued her worship for the Lord at St. Agatha Church, on Chicago’s westside. Angie was a very active member of the church, well-loved by all and led the Youth Praise Dance Team, which she was so proud of.
Angie attended Mason Elementary, Lindblom Technical H.S., both in Chicago, then attended Iowa State for further studies. She came back to Chicago, where she captured her Associates Degree in Finance. Angie was a phenomenal athlete growing up, playing softball in High School, excelling playing first base. She was known to be your best friend, but not afraid to give you her thoughts, solicited or not.
Angie worked in Accounts Receivable, where she gave the same diligence and effort to be the best, receiving various recognitions for her success, as well as coaching and mentoring others.
Angie transitioned to Heaven on March 15th, at home to the surprise of everyone, to join her baby brother.
Angie leaves to cherish her loving memories, her mother, Darlene; grandmother, Hazel; brothers, Eric (Tunisia), and Kevin (Felicia); uncle, Charles (Lonnie) Warren; nieces, Gabby, Kelsey, Eriel, and Eriana; nephews, Kevin (KJ), and Eric (EJ); beloved fiancée, Marlon Powell; and a host of cousins, an incredible number of friends, and her St. Agatha Church Family.
