Darryl Lamont Graham, aka Ramone, was born December 17, 1971, in Chicago, Illinois to the loving union of his late parents, John Moses and Ruth Ella Graham.
He attended Goldblatt Elementary and graduated from Marshall High School where he enjoyed playing sports and was a member of the football team.
Darryl was later employed and worked for several years at various companies.
He confessed faith and hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. Michael M.B. Church under the leadership of Pastor Willie Mason. He recently reunited with the church and served faithfully in the Men’s Ministry where he developed a close bond with Pastor Paul Sims. In addition, Darryl was known for his phone ministry. He made it a point to reach out and call family members and friends on a regular basis.
He leaves to cherish his memories four siblings: two brothers, Michael (Beverly) and James “Jimmy” (Tammie); two sisters, Doris and Tameka; five nephews, Irving Davis, Izell (Quita) Promise, Zachary (Kenyetta) Graham, Michael Graham Jr., and James Jamon Graham; two dear nieces, Jasmin Graham and Lasha Henderson; along with several great-nieces and great-nephews; one uncle, Jesse “JB” Boyd; one aunt, Freddie Boyd, who is also his Godmother; special cousin, Bryant (BB) Boyd; one god-sister, Denetra Maxey; along with a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
Darryl departed this life on May 5, 2026, and now joins other dearly departed waiting in eternity including his parents, John & Ruth; and three brothers, Melvin, Andre and Keith.
He will be missed but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
