David G. Wolfe, Sr. was born March 24, 1975, to the union of William and Linda Wolfe. He attended Crown Academy and graduated at the top of his class as valedictorian. As a student at Steinmetz High School, he enjoyed playing the Saxophone in the marching band and later attended U.I.C. and Harold Washington Colleges.
He gave his life to Christ at Prayer Temple C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of Elder Moore. Later, David joined Rock of Salvation Church under the leadership of Pastor Pearlie Freeman and married his wife, Kim. To this union, four children were born: Justin, David, Jr., Dana and Azaria. David used his musical talents to play the keyboard and drums at the Rock.
David worked at Hyundai and was a dedicated, hard-working team leader. Later, he worked at U.I.C. as a production manager, most notable, he worked diligently for a radio station which propelled his love for music and connecting his community. David had a passion for helping people live healthy lives by using natural herbs and promoted his positive businesses on his Facebook page.
David took his rest and was born into eternity on February 2, 2024. He was preceded in death by many loved ones who are forever in our hearts.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Kim; two sons, Justin and David, Jr.; two daughters, Dana and Azaria; mother, Linda (John) Woodley; father, William Wolfe; one brother, Daniel Wolfe, Sr.; three sisters, Della (Kevin) Lindsay, Mary Stokes, and Season (Reggie) Palmer; a plethora of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. His legacy will continue with his four children.
