Estella Lomax was born on February 7, 1959, to Annie Lee Lomax and W.D. Lomax.
Estella came to Christ at an early age at Jennings Baptist Church until 1973. She then joined Sunrise Baptist Church in 1975.
Estella was a loving and caring person. She brought the family lots of laughter anytime she was around; she was always the life of the party. Her favorite words we're "I am going to be good today you all." She let you know that life was too short to be just sitting around, you at least have to live a little. She was a young grandmother who didn't play about her grandchildren. She left this world the last few months listening to her church music and letting her family know daily how much she loved them. She will be greatly missed because she definitely lit up the room.
Estella was preceded in death by her mom, Annie Lee Lomax Huntley; her two father’s, W.D. Lomax and Wardell Huntley; sisters, Mary Lomax Jones, Jacqueline Lomax and Teresa Lomax; and brothers, W.C. Lomax and Timmy Lomax.
Estella leaves to cherish her ten children, Tywon, Keesha (Michael), Herbert, Karen, Patricia, Leonard, Latanya (Ray), Mary and Lorene; two sisters, Linda Lomax and Sherrie Lomax; brother, Joe Willie Lomax; 25 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
