Horace J. Donaldson

Horace Donaldson was born into life on August 10, 1949, in Chicago, IL to Horace Donaldson, Sr. and Retha Donaldson. He went to Brown Elementary School in Chicago, IL and later worked for the railroad in his adult years. 

Horace was known for his kindness, wisdom, and humor he was loved by so many people. Horace was born into eternity on June 20, 2025. In Heaven, he will join his parents, Horace Donaldson, Sr. and Retha Donaldson; mother in-law, Annie Nolen; sister, Linda Powell; nephew, Jeron Powell; niece, Angela Goolsby; brother in-law, and Jimmy Dowell. 

Horace leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Bridget Donaldson; sisters, Geraldine, Mamie (Pat), Renea, Tanea, and Shirley; brothers, Henry (Hank), Emmet (Linell), and Arthur; children, Eric (Carla), Marchetta, and Mya; grandchildren, Erica, Kenric, Jayshaun, Deontay Jr, Ka’Dan, Kasen, and Kyree; nieces and nephews, Bryan, Dwayne, Shelly, Sharon, Keyshia, Demetrius, Reggie, Arianna, Anjalae, Alania, Dajuan, Ray, Erika, Courtney, Matthew, Joshua and Tiffany; sister in-laws, Cynthia, Sheryl, and Marva; father in-law, William Nolen; as well as a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
