Louisiana Williams Obituary

Louisiana Williams was born on September 18, 1952, to the late Arthur and Minnie McQueen in Brent, Alabama. She was united in holy matrimony to Ernest Williams Sr., and from this union, five children were born.

At an early age, Louisiana accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She later rededicated her life at Purity Holiness Church in Chicago and soon joined the House of Prayer under the leadership of Reverend Leroy Johnson. She faithfully served under Bishop Gregory Hill, was licensed as a missionary, and remained a devoted and current member.

Louisiana attended Harrisburg School in Brent, Alabama. She spent many years working as a nursing assistant, a role that reflected her caring and compassionate spirit. After retiring, she enjoyed life in her Bellwood home, where she found great joy in spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

Louisiana Williams peacefully departed this life on February 3rd at 3:08 p.m. at Elmhurst Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Minnie McQueen; her siblings; Arthur, Eddie, Lawrence, Louisery Lockett, John L, John T, Lavell Sanders and her husband Earnest Sr, and her eldest son Earnest Jr.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her children: Minerva Williams-Conley (Donell), her daughter-in-love Angela Johnson-Williams Tyrone Williams (Nickole), Mark Williams Townsend (Brian) of Houston, Texas, James Williams (Ana), and Ale Perez Miller; her brothers, Love McQueen, Sister-in-law Sister McQueen (Robin ILL) And Dempsey Peterson; 19 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Louisiana Williams will be remembered for her faith, her love for family, and the kindness she extended to all who knew her.
