Ora Lee Partee was born October 28, 1935, in Vance, Mississippi, to Cathren and Jimmie Hoskin. She was the youngest of three to this union.
Ora had a beautiful personality and loving spirit, a smile that would light up any room. She was very caring of others, understanding, easy to talk to and always willing to lend a hand to help others in need. Her favorite color was white, she enjoyed fashion and love to dress.
Ora was member and baptized at Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. She faithfully served on the nursing board. Ora was also a member of the Eastern Star Organization.
Ora married James Kilpatrick, to this union 5 children were born. Ora later married Wollie Partee (Vick), to this union one child was born.
Ora first trade was a license electrician. Ora also attended trade school and received training as a rehabilitation nurse. Ora worked at Community Care for over 30 years until her health failed her.
On February 21, 2021, at 5:34pm God plucked another one of his beautiful flowers and called Ora home. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Cathren and Jimmie Hoskins; son, James Kilpatrick, Jr.; and two sisters, Martha Washington, and Mae Alice Woods.
Ora leaves to cherish her memory, her five children, Donald, Annette Kilpatrick Hughes (Gregory), Marvin, Cathy, Marshall (Yolanda); twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one special goddaughter, Shindana (Cory); one sister, Clara Ann Moore (Texas); one brother, Jimmie Steele (Jean) Lansing IL; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
