Her Journey….
Queen Esther Foster was born to Minora Martin and James E. Foster in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Feb. 12th, 1938. She was the second sibling of four. Queen attended grammar school in Alabama, Highschool @ Crane. The Queen was epic in bringing hair back to life as a license beautician, flowing into a leadership role for over 35 years as a shift supervisor at Lake Book Binders Factory; retiring early to be the best childcare worker specifically for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and close friends only. The Queen was also an amazing missionary for Christ and youth department teacher at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, where her late father and stepmother attended. The Queen’s calling in this
life was fulfilled.
Throughout The Queen’s life, her gentle radiant light and love was shone and felt by everyone she encountered. Her warmth and kind spirit were even more evident to Arthur Faulkner Jr. married in 1959, who also proceed her in death; within that union three beautiful girls were born, while also loving three stepdaughters and one stepson.
The Queen’s motherhood was a sacred Practice of teaching and leading with love daily. She also loves to celebrate your wins, and keep you motivated to try again after a loss. As a missionary for Christ, she gains an enormous amount of respect from all.
Preceded in Death
The Queen was the family Matriarch she took great care of the entire family in many different creative loving ways. Her parent’s; sisters, Olivia Peters, and Stella Foster; and brother, James Foster, Jr.; along with many cousins, nieces, a daughter, Yvette Faulkner; and great-granddaughter, Mercedes Y. S. Billups.
Leaves to Cherish
The Queen created a family legacy of love living on in the hearts of every strong woman and man she taught to fight through life adversity. She left two loving stepsisters, Gene and Lynn; two daughters, Iris (Greg), and Janice; grandchildren, Rachelle, Jemil, Mario, Marlon, Quincy, Johnette, Jacqueline, Quinton; great grandchildren, Raven, Mario Jr., Symajai, Myra, Marlena, Marlon Jr., Dynrius, Amelia, Ayden, Alkira, Akiyah, Jayden, and Queen; nieces, Stephanie (Torrell), Tareta, and Olivia; nephew, Runako and Andrew; great nephews, Umar (Michiyo), and Rahsaan; great great grandchildren twins, Devontae, and Damontae; step children, Geraldine, Denice, and Marcus; also, a host of step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren, step great great grandchildren; and a special grandson Morgan Body, she leaves with love.
