Robert Hamilton, Sr.

Robert James Hamilton, Sr. was born on May 11, 1934, in Monroe, LA to Ms. Cora Ross. 

Robert accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Metropolitan, under the leadership of Pastor Eddie Williams, when he served as Deacon faithfully.

Robert attended Richwood High School in Monroe, LA. On, March 22, 1955, he married the love of his life Ms. Mary Hamilton. To this union three children were born Silvia, Robert Jr., and Velma Moore. Robert worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 44 year, before retiring.

Mr. Robert Hamilton, Sr. departed this life on November 17, 2021. In heaven, Robert will join both his parents, and daughter, Silvia, who both preceded him in death.

Robert Hamilton, Sr. leaves to cherish his loving wife, Mary Hamilton; two children, Robert Jr., and Velma Moore; two sisters, Ruther Gaines, and Maple Calhoun; one brother, Edward; granddaughter, Fatima Moore; four great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
