Robyn Nicole Calvin

Robyn Nicole Calvin was born on May 28th, 2003, in Chicago, Illinois to Robert Calvin (Preceded her in death) and Krystal Allen.

Robyn (Pinky) as she was affectionately called attended Francis Granger Middle School. She attended Nequa Valley High School earning her Diploma. She attended Triton College where she was pursuing a nursing career until God called her home. She worked part-time at Allied Security.

Robyn enjoyed a good laugh and making others laugh as well. Her laugh was contagious. Just thinking of Robyn made you smile. She was loved by young and old because of her kind-heartedness, thoughtfulness and compassion for others. She always checked in with her friends and family to make sure they were okay. She was popular with everyone and they loved her company. She loved to cook various dishes and put her all into it. She had no problem cooking and sharing holiday meals for the family. She loved being the giver instead of the receiver of anything. She loved family gatherings,music and traveling.

Robyn accepted Christ at an early age. Robyn had a strong relationship with God and would often send friends and family scriptures. Robyn never gave up on God and never stopped praying. Whenever she had a problem she prayed on it.

On Friday, November 29th, 2024, God whispered to Robyn well done my good and faithful servant and welcomed her home. Robyn is at peace now. She is at rest in God's warm embrace.

Robyn is preceded in death by her Father Robert Calvin; 2 Grandfathers Jeff Allen and Willie Hayes Sr.; 1 Uncle Willie Hayes Jr.

She leaves to cherish her mother Krystal Allen; Stepfather Samuel Jackson; 3 Grandmothers Florence Allen, Gilda Fay Calvin and Levon Jackson; Grandfather Sam Jackson; 4 Sisters: Raven, Re’hanna, Ryan, and Jordan; 2 Brothers Samuel and Fabian; 2 Aunts Katrina and Keyama; 6 Uncles James (Adri), Precious, Tremaine(Earlene), Marvell, Sonny and IJ; Her Baby Supreme ; Godmother Christine; Special Cousins: Antwan, Jamese, James, Darius, Jontavia, Tamia, Briana, Casey, Katlyn, Deja and a host of family and friends.
