Terry Philpot, 51, was born in Chicago, IL.
Early in life, Terry learned the importance of hard work and instilled that same work ethic within his children. No matter the role Terry assumed, he displayed pride and dedication.
Outside of work, Terry enjoyed: fishing, watching movies, cruising, and listening to music every weekend with a shot of Tanqueray and creating lasting memories.
He was known not only for his caring nature, but also for his amusing sense of humor. Terry lit every room he entered with his memorable smile. If needed, no matter the time or day Terry was there.
Terry leaves behind five children with Kimberly Arrington: Terrica Philpot, India Philpot, Kierra Walton, Akeem Duncan, Keith Duncan and ten grandchildren (Taahir, Jimmy, Julian, Trace, Cameron, Daniyah, Gianna, Arianna, Akeem and Grayson). He is survived by three siblings: Rita Streeter, James Philpot and Anthony Philpot; and best friend, Jerry Moore. They will cherish the memories shared.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Sharon and Willie Streeter, whose love and guidance shaped him into the person he became.
Terry Philpot will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His funny and loving personality will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him. In this difficult time, may his loved ones find peace in the memories shared, and the impact Terry had on their lives.
