Victor Tyrone Johnson was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 23, 1967, to Gloria Jean Haywood and by love to Eric Robert Johnson. He was raised in Maywood, Illinois where he attended Lexington Elementary School and Proviso East High School where he graduated with the C/O "85."
He went on to work for Currie Motors auto group for over 30 years. He received his CDL Drivers license along with a hazmat certification and started driving for Kenan Advantage Auto Group for 11 years.
He confessed Christ at an early age and attended Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist church with his favorite uncle, William M. Bradley, who was more like a father figure. He soon became a junior usher.
Whatever job he obtained he took it very seriously and was determined to be good at it.
He wed Darlynn Terry and soon became a member of Broadview Missionary Baptist Church, where he eventually took a role on the security team.
He loves God, his family and was happy to be a part of the Broadview family. He was also loved by many.
Victor was a man of many interests starting with sports. He once obtained a role as an extra on the set of the football movie "Lucas." He considered becoming a police officer, so it was no surprise when he joined the security team. He enjoys cooking specifically grilling. He was voted Director of Security which was a role he held until his passing.
Preceding him in death is his mother, father, aunts and uncles and cousins especially "Cathy" who was more like a sister. He leaves to cherish his memory two sisters, Ericka Johnson (his Irish twin), and Glenda Byrd (Jerome); one brother, Sharves "Tony" Haywood; two sons, Brandon Scott and Saveon Johnson; one grandson, Koen Brandon Scott; along with Uncle Charles (aunt willie); aunt, Barbara Marshall; many nieces, nephews and many cousins especially "The Harvey Haywood Tribe;" and a very special friend/caregiver, Zuwena Smith.
